Steamboat, New Orleans original photograph printed on high quality paper then resined on hand cut and painted frame, one of a kind piece

This is a unique presentation of photography. The artist takes the photo then edits the image. Once the image is printed it is then applied to a metal backing that serves as a frame. The metal backing is cut, polished and painted with translucent paint. The translucent paint allows the polished metal to show through, creating movement as light plays across the surface. The print is applied to the metal using resin and a layer of resin then coats the print and metal as well. The back of the piece has a tab on either side through which a metal wire is strung, allowing the piece to be easily hung on the wall. The pieces is signed and numbered on the back.
